How To Clean Your Cornhole Bags
Ever wonder how to clean your dirty cornhole bags? Follow the below steps to keep your cornhole bags looking new.
1) Fill up a container with hot water and some dish soap.
2) Place cornhole bags in soapy water and let soak over night.
3) Lightly scrub both sides of cornhole bag. I use a brush from Amazon: Dawn 432940 Kitchen Brush
4) Rinse cornhole bag making sure to get all the soap off & out of cornhole bag.
5) Place cornhole bag in area to dry. FYI the rack inside a dishwasher works great to hold the cornhole bag while it drys.
Note - the above instructions are only for resin filled cornhole bags. Not corn filled cornhole bags. Also you should never wash your cornhole bags inside a laundry washer. Due to the possibility of the cornhole bag seam coming apart and the resin beads jamming up the washing machine.
When you start washing large quantities @ a time like we do you modify the above instructions. Its not uncommon after a weekend for us to have 80+ cornhole bags to clean. We soak the bags overnight in an ice chest, the same kind you'd fill with your favorite beverage for a party. Once the cornhole bags are cleaned we tilt them @ an angle and place in a solo cup to dry. The below picture shows a dirty bag on the table prior to being cleaned. Huge difference. This set of bags were rented by a restaurant and played in the parking lot.
